About the role

The Operations Performance Consultant plays a vital role in supporting the success of drop ship suppliers by serving as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations through proactive assistance and effective issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for drop ship suppliers, facilitating strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication, developing corrective action plans and owning the operational supplier development strategy
• Generate comprehensive reports to monitor supplier performance, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement
• Anticipate potential issues and implement practical, data-driven solutions to prevent disruptions
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve supplier-related issues and foster a collaborative, results-driven environment
• Lead and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving supplier performance, such as targeted sprints focused on key operational metrics like lead time, inventory compliance, manifesting errors and incidents
• Provide expert operational guidance to suppliers, helping them optimise their processes using T&W's various operational programs and automation tools
• Execute the Monthly Performance Outreach program, focused on analysing the performance of the top 50 suppliers and preparing detailed reports on key operational metrics
• Ensure top 50 suppliers are well prepared to handle peak volumes during major sales event periods
• Utilise advanced technology and data analysis to enhance supplier performance management, including automating key processes and leveraging performance dashboards
• Engage with suppliers regarding late orders and collaborate to resolve operational issues

About you

• Experience managing supplier and internal relationships
• Experience in structured problem-solving and making informed recommendations, ideally with formal training and practical experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends
• High attention to detail
• Strong skills in Excel / google sheets (intermediate to advanced)
• Excellent written, verbal, and documentation skills
• Ability to work across business units and solve issues collaboratively
• Proactive approach to self-learning and problem-solving
