The Role

Provide analytical support to Sales by transforming business data into actionable insights, monitoring account and market performance, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue and profitability. The role also involves maintaining accurate reporting and dashboards, investigating data trends and anomalies, and supporting commercial and optimisation initiatives.

Reporting to the TPS Optimisation Manager, with dotted lines to the Regional Manager (Sales) and Head of Sales, will work closely with the wider FIT Sales Team and cross-functional departments to deliver commercial growth, revenue optimisation, data-driven decision-making and outstanding client service.

Sales Support, Data Analysis & Performance Optimisation

• Support Sales Managers in development and optimisation of accounts (clients / Third party suppliers).
• Extract, manipulate, validate and prepare data from relevant internal systems for business analysis and reporting.
• Analyse large datasets to identify booking trends, performance gaps, revenue opportunities and areas for optimisation.
• Monitor client performance inventory and booking behaviour to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Develop and maintain regular performance reports, dashboards and KPIs to track account and business performance.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Tableau to organise, analyse, visualise and maintain data efficiently.
• Identify trends, anomalies and data-quality issues and share with Sales to investigate the underlying causes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, validation checks and updates.
• Respond to internal queries relating to reports, performance metrics and analysis.
• Support ad hoc analytical projects, commercial initiatives and business optimisation activities.

The Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (manage large Excel data, pivot table, formulas ( vlookup /ifs/fuzzy vlookup)
• Hands-on experience with relevant software.
• Solid organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Commercial awareness within the travel industry.
• Responsible for the quality and delivery of your own work, able to peer review and provide broader quality control as needed.
• Knowledge of basic financial concepts.
• Previous experience with Tableau desirable.
• Clear and effective, both verbal and written, communication skills in English are essential.
