Accounting Manager

OVERVIEW:

The Accounting Manager will oversee the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting functions for real estate projects, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial information. The role requires solid experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing high-volume transactions, and handling accounting activities throughout the full project life cycle—from project acquisition and development through construction, sales, completion, and close-out.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations for real estate projects, including project costing, payables, receivables, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, budgets, and project financial performance.
• Handle and oversee **high-volume and complex transactions**, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
• Monitor project costs, revenues, cash flows, and profitability against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate with project, finance, sales, procurement, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and support internal and external audits.
• Identify financial variances, risks, and process improvements, providing meaningful insights to management.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff while maintaining strong internal controls and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within real estate, property development, construction, or a similarly transaction-intensive industry.
• Strong financial reporting, analytical, project accounting, and team management skills are required. Experience handling voluminous transactions and the complete real estate project life cycle is highly preferred.
• With experience in an auditing firm.
