About the role
Reporting to the IT Delivery & Execution Head, you'll run a portfolio of enterprise IT programs end to end. The Head owns delivery, QA, IT financials, and systems analysis across the organization; you'll be the person turning that mandate into shipped work — holding timelines, budgets, quality gates, and stakeholders together across concurrent projects. This is a delivery role with real ownership. You'll be accountable for outcomes, not just status reports.
What you'll do
Delivery
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT programs across business units, keeping outcomes tied to strategic priorities
- Manage timelines, dependencies, resourcing, and risk across a multi-project portfolio
- Apply the right methodology to the right initiative — Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid — and help mature how the team delivers
Quality
- Partner with QA to embed test planning and entry/exit criteria into every program plan
- Track defect trends and drive root cause resolution rather than letting issues recur release to release
- Hold delivery teams to agreed quality standards through go-live
Financials
- Own program budgets and forecasts; flag variances early and explain them clearly
- Support vendor management and contract oversight alongside Finance and Procurement
- Track benefits realization so leadership can see the return on IT investments
Requirements and change
- Work with business systems analysts to ensure requirements are complete, documented, and validated against the solution delivered
- Keep business stakeholders and technical teams aligned on scope
- Build change management and user adoption into the plan, not as an afterthought
Governance
- Maintain program governance, KPIs, and reporting for the IT Delivery & Execution Head and senior leadership
- Coordinate with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security so delivery is integrated, not siloed
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years in IT project or program management, including large or complex cross-functional initiatives
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
- Demonstrated budget ownership — forecasting, tracking, and cost control
- Strong stakeholder management; you can influence without direct authority and hold a hard line on scope
- Experience with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, or vendor-delivered implementations
- Healthcare, HMO, insurance, or another regulated industry is an advantage
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
