Lead technical solution design for the commercial and industrial (C&I) distributed solar PV market in the Philippines, covering rooftop distributed PV for factories, plants, and commercial buildings. This position is strictly limited to the C&I distributed solar segment and does not involve utility-scale ground-mounted projects.
Conduct pre-project site surveys and technical assessments, including rooftop area and structural load capacity, orientation and shading, electricity consumption profiles, and grid connection conditions, and issue feasibility analysis reports.
Be responsible for PV system design (modules, inverters, mounting systems, electrical primary/secondary, etc.), preparing system solutions, technical specifications, bills of quantities (BOQ), and construction drawings.
Perform energy yield simulation and performance assessment using professional software such as PVsyst, evaluating system performance ratio (PR), generation revenue, and investment returns to support commercial quotations and customer decisions.
Support the BD/sales team in technical communication and solution presentations, respond to customer technical inquiries, and provide technical clarification during commercial negotiations and confirmation of contract technical terms.
Monitor Philippine solar policies and technical standards (Net Metering, RCOA / Direct Power Agreements, Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), DOE/ERC requirements, etc.) to ensure solution compliance.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and EPC teams on equipment selection and supplier technical evaluation, and support technical coordination for procurement, construction, installation, and grid connection commissioning.
Establish and improve a standardized solution design library and technical support documentation, participate in industry technical exchanges, and continuously improve solution design efficiency and competitiveness.
