AVP – Procurement

The Tasks/Responsibilities of the position are as follows:

Cost Reporting

Prepares and maintains the predicted and/or actual cost of a project for presentation to stakeholders, for the purposes of budget allocation as well as serving as the basis of cost control and cash flow planning.

Product/Service Procurement

Manages the end-to-end procurement process—including sourcing, selection, and purchasing—while securing competitive pricing and favorable terms aligned with constraints.

Ensures quality and cost alignment through expertise in construction materials and coordinates with stakeholders for timely, efficient delivery of supplies.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Management

Reviews deliverables accomplished by team members, ensuring overarching department/team requirements and performance indicators are fulfilled.

Project Management

Leads the completion of given projects by organizing the team and their expected deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to the project timeline.

Reporting and Data Analytics

Analyzes procurement data in the form of comprehensive figures in order to contribute to strategic planning and goal setting.

Record Keeping

Maintains detailed documentation of asset/service purchases, both for proper archival and retrieval for usage in procedures or other transactions.

EXPERIENCE:

Over 10 years of progressive experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in the real estate, construction, or property development setting; with a deep understanding of procurement regulation and procedure

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or any related field

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Any certification related to supply chain management, such as Certified Supply Planning Professional (CSPP)
