AI Workflow Officer

The AI Workflow Officer leads the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions across Netbank.

This is a hands-on role that translates management direction and business requirements into reliable workflows, integrations, AI agents, and internal tools. The role requires strong communication skills, active listening, and the ability to absorb direction, clarify expectations, and convert feedback into high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow and Automation Delivery

• Translate business requirements and management direction into clear process maps, technical requirements, and executable workflows.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automation solutions using Onyx, Gumloop, and similar platforms.
• Develop solutions supporting credit processes, customer and partner onboarding, AML and compliance workflows, operational reporting, and customer journeys.
• Assess workflow feasibility, dependencies, risks, required controls, and expected business benefits.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy and turnaround times.

Stakeholder Communication and Coordination

• Conduct structured discussions with business users to understand processes, challenges, and desired outcomes.
• Listen carefully, absorb direction, ask relevant questions, and confirm requirements before beginning development.
• Communicate workflow concepts, limitations, progress, risks, and results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Credit, Product, Technology, and partner-facing teams throughout delivery.
• Incorporate management and user feedback promptly while maintaining clear records of decisions and changes.
• Provide concise and timely progress updates and escalate blockers when necessary.

Integration, Testing, and Deployment

• Configure APIs, data flows, pre-built connectors, and third-party integrations using no-code or low-code tools.
• Build internal dashboards, user interfaces, trackers, and operational tools.
• Prepare test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects and improve workflow reliability, usability, security, and performance.
• Monitor deployed workflows and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timelines.

Governance and Documentation

• Maintain clear documentation of requirements, process logic, integrations, controls, test results, user instructions, and change history.
• Ensure solutions comply with banking, information security, data privacy, regulatory, and internal standards.
• Establish reusable templates, components, and workflow patterns for future automation projects.
• Support users through training, guidance, and post-launch assistance.
• Promote responsible and controlled use of AI across the Bank.
