The Chief Sales Officer lead the sales and commercial direction of a well-established Philippine organization in the education, publishing, retail, and learning-solutions sector.

This is a senior executive opportunity for a commercially driven leader who has successfully built sales organizations, grown consumer markets, developed strategic distribution channels, and translated market opportunities into sustainable revenue and profitability.

What You'll Lead

• Develop and execute the company's retail and sales strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability, with a strong focus on the consumer market.
• Lead the overall sales organization and align sales targets, channels, resources, and priorities with the company's business strategy.
• Drive achievement of sales volume, market share, revenue, profitability, and other key commercial objectives.
• Oversee sales planning, budgets, projections, costs, and related commercial performance across B2C and B2B markets.
• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with distributors and other channels to expand product availability and market reach.
• Identify and develop alternative sales and distribution channels that support long-term business growth.
• Partner closely with Marketing and Market Teams on competitive intelligence, merchandising, product positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic commercial partnerships.
• Establish effective sales performance management systems and ensure accountability across the organization.
• Develop, mentor, and strengthen sales leaders and teams while fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented culture.
• Build productive senior-level relationships with customers, partners, prospects, and other key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• College graduate with Masteral units or a Master's degree.
• Extensive progressive experience in sales, commercial, retail, or business leadership.
• At least 26 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 15 years in managerial or executive leadership roles.
• Strong track record of leading sizeable sales organizations and delivering measurable revenue and profitability growth.
• Strong experience in retail/B2C sales, with exposure to B2B markets highly valuable.
• Experience in channel development, distributor partnerships, market expansion, and go-to-market strategy.
• Demonstrated experience managing sales budgets, forecasts, performance targets, and commercial results.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth with profitability.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and other executive stakeholders.
• Strong strategic communication, critical thinking, decision-making, organizational leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within retail, consumer goods, publishing, education-related products, distribution, or other multi-channel consumer businesses would be highly relevant.
