Communications Officer

Job Summary:

The Communications and Advocacy Officer supports in driving and executing the foundation’s overall communication strategies and in developing marketing & communication programs for key stakeholders and audiences.

The role requires leading programs aimed to inspire its audience while creating a measurable impact in promoting GBF’s purpose, values, ambition and Education advocacy.

Job Functions:

1. Build the GBF brand as STEM Champion and Nation-Builder

• Ensure responsiveness and updated information across GBF digital and social media channels, with regular bench-marking among similar organizations.
• Execute research, creative planning, internal coordination, talent assignment, and publishing strategies for programs-related reports and stories
• Lead event management, program flow, and video production for events -Deploy brand awareness survey and report insight
• Lead and/or development of GBF brand assets and its trademark/copyright policies

2. Support program's success through stakeholder activation and engagement

• Lead the development of the program’s key messages, voice and visual identity for its audience
• Lead online sourcing campaigns for scholarship program
• Support the communication needs for on-ground sourcing activities by program owner
• Support the engagement and communication plan for identified online communities

3. Contribute to maintaining a high performing team with strong operations to support common goals

• Build strong internal partnerships and a positive work environment to meet shared goal
• Build a strong culture of learning and development
• Support building of database of pool of vendors, talents, and supplier
• Support in the implementation of agile and scalable systems and processes for effective communications support to programs

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of work experience in a marketing and communications field, with emphasis on coordination work, project or account management
• -Able to do quality check on written work and with a good eye for visuals Experienced in social media management
• Willingness to work in a hybrid mode, with a combination of work from home and face-to-face in Mandaluyong City
