Audio Visual (AV) Engineer-Alabang

Job Overview

We are looking for an Audio Visual Engineer to support and maintain reliable AV and collaboration systems across meeting rooms, executive spaces, and critical collaboration areas. This role will handle AV troubleshooting, system configuration, implementation, and ongoing support while working closely with IT, Network, Security, Facilities, vendors, and end users.

Key Responsibilities

🎥 Video Conferencing & Collaboration

• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and similar platforms.
• Ensure reliable audio, video, screen sharing, and meeting experiences.
• Integrate AV hardware with collaboration platforms, including Cisco-related solutions.

🔊 Audio, Video & Control Systems

• Configure and troubleshoot DSPs, amplifiers, microphones, speakers, cameras, displays, and AV-over-IP systems.
• Configure room automation, touch panels, lighting/shade integration, and device controls.
• Troubleshoot audio quality, camera framing, display, and control system issues.

🌐 Network & Infrastructure

• Coordinate with network teams on VLANs, QoS, IP addressing, firewall rules, bandwidth, and connectivity.
• Support AV-over-IP, cloud conferencing endpoints, and remote device management.

📋 Standards & Documentation

• Maintain AV standards, room design templates, equipment lists, and support documentation.
• Review vendor proposals and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.

🛠️ Implementation & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with IT, Security, Facilities, construction teams, vendors, and integrators.
• Review drawings, scopes of work, bills of materials, commissioning reports, and project deliverables.
• Support installation, testing, acceptance, and handoff to operations.

⚙️ Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot production issues and monitor system health.
• Support executive meetings, large events, and critical collaboration spaces.
• Resolve incidents and continuously improve the end-user experience.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting AV and video conferencing systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of audio, video, control systems, and AV infrastructure
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and end users
