What You’ll Do

• Design, implement and optimise Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform solutions.
• Align platform strategy and architecture with business needs, ensuring secure, governed and cost-effective operations.
• Establish governance, compliance, security, access, data management and metadata controls.
• Implement DevOps, CI/CD, Git, release management, change management and Infrastructure as Code.
• Build monitoring and FinOps capabilities, including dashboards, alerts and capacity optimisation.
• Develop the Fabric Centre of Excellence, optimise analytics and BI, and deliver documentation, training and knowledge transfer.

Key Criteria

• 5+ years’ experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or platform engineering.
• Demonstrated Microsoft Fabric implementation experience, including governance, security and DevOps frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Purview, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps and Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of DAX and Power BI query behaviour, with the ability to identify and recommend solutions for inefficient joins, expressions, semantic models and high-concurrency workloads.
• Experience designing or improving Fabric governance, including workspace ownership, role/access management, data classification, business-domain ownership and appropriate data access controls.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Spark, PySpark, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data modelling, CI/CD, Git, release management and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of RLS, RBAC, data governance and compliance; DP-600, DP-203, PL-300 or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is highly regarded.

Work setup

• Manila (BGC, Taguig): Philippine hours (6 am – 3 pm PHT) with a hybrid setup (1 day onsite, 4 days remote)
