Compliance & Control Officer (Collections)

About the Role:

As a Compliance & Control Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the Bank’s collection operations. You will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards, monitoring quality and operational performance, and driving continuous process improvements across our early and late-stage teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance & Monitoring: Oversee daily collection activities to ensure full alignment with bank policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of collection calls, communications, and documentation to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
• Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and analyze comprehensive reports on collection performance metrics, operational trends, and audit findings to support management decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps, control risks, and inefficiencies, and proactively recommend actionable solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with team leaders and stakeholders to address quality issues and resolve operational challenges.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal audits, compliance reviews, and strategic process enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or a relevant discipline.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience in collections, banking operations, risk management, compliance, or quality assurance.
• Skills & Competencies: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., data analysis, reporting tools).
• Work Arrangement: Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and willing to work on-site
