Senior Full-Stack Software Developer - AI Voice and Communications Platform

Job Description

This is a remote position.

iReply is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to help design and build a new AI voice and communications management platform.

The platform will allow operators to configure, test, monitor, and evaluate AI call-taking agents. ElevenLabs will be the first supported AI provider, but the architecture must allow additional conversational AI services to be added through connectors over time.

Netsapiens is the client's exclusive communications platform, making integration with its services central to this project. This is a hands-on, greenfield role with meaningful ownership across architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build the platform from its initial foundation through production.
  
• Develop a management console for configuring, testing, monitoring, and evaluating AI voice agents.
  
• Create a provider-neutral integration model, beginning with ElevenLabs.
  
• Integrate deeply with Netsapiens to support communications workflows, call handling, routing, and platform events.
  
• Develop operator-facing tools for reviewing calls, transcripts, agent activity, performance, and quality results.
  
• Connect AI agents with customer management, billing, ticketing, network monitoring, and knowledge systems.
  
• Build safe escalation and transfer workflows for situations that require human assistance.
  
• Establish strong practices for security, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintainable code.
  
• Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to turn evolving requirements into practical solutions.
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
  
• Strong full-stack experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and backend API development.
  
• Experience in architecting and delivering new production applications.
  
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to ship production-quality software.
  
• Experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting third-party APIs and distributed services.
  
• Experience with databases, automated testing, secure development, and containerized deployments.
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous technical problems.
  
• Clear communication, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work effectively in a 100% remote company.
  
• Capable of completing project sprints with minimal day-to-day oversight
  
• A strong product mindset and a commitment to building reliable, maintainable software.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with conversational AI, voice automation, or contact-center software.
  
• Familiarity with ElevenLabs Agents or other programmable voice AI platforms.
  
• Experience designing connector, adapter, plugin, or provider-abstraction architectures.
  
• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol or tool-enabled AI agents.
  
• Experience with Python or GraphQL
  
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, UCaaS, call routing, or telecommunications provisioning.
  
• Familiarity with the Netsapiens platform and experience integrating with its APIs or communications services.

Requirements
10+ years of software development experience with strong full-stack expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, backend APIs, application architecture, API integration, databases, testing, secure development, and containerized deployments. Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
