Company: Global Virtuoso Job Type: Full-Time Location: Onsite Department: Information Technology About the Role Global Virtuoso is seeking an experienced and hands-on Onsite IT Supervisor to oversee day-to-day IT operations and provide technical leadership and support to employees.
This role is responsible for maintaining reliable technology infrastructure, resolving technical issues, managing IT assets, and ensuring employees have the tools and support they need to work effectively.
The ideal candidate is a technically capable problem-solver who enjoys working directly with people, can prioritize multiple requests, and is comfortable taking ownership of IT operations in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day-to-day onsite IT support and operations.
Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, networking, and user access issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, phone, network, and peripheral issues.
Serve as the primary onsite escalation point for technical problems.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, equipment deployment, access changes, and equipment recovery.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, applications, and other IT equipment.
Manage IT inventory, including computers, monitors, peripherals, mobile devices, and other technology assets.
Monitor network connectivity and help maintain reliable onsite network performance.
Work with vendors and external IT providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, equipment, and user accounts.
Manage and prioritize help desk requests and ensure issues are addressed within appropriate timeframes.
Assist with software installations, updates, patches, and system maintenance.
Support cybersecurity best practices, including password management, access controls, endpoint security, and employee awareness.
Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
Identify recurring technical problems and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
Help develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Train and assist employees with technology, applications, and basic troubleshooting.
Coordinate IT projects, upgrades, equipment deployments, and office technology changes.
Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach when supporting employees.
Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities Provide day-to-day direction and support to onsite IT staff or technicians.
Assign and prioritize technical support requests.
Monitor workload, response times, and issue resolution.
Help establish consistent IT support procedures and service standards.
Coach team members and assist with technical development.
Escalate complex or business-critical issues appropriately.
Partner with leadership to identify technology needs and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, desktop support, or a related IT role.
Previous experience supervising, leading, or coordinating IT staff preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting Windows computers and common business applications.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
Experience with user account administration and access management.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based business applications.
Experience with hardware deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and other departments.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
Experience with Active Directory.
Familiarity with endpoint management and remote support tools.
Experience with IT ticketing/help desk systems.
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar certifications.
Experience supporting multi-location or distributed teams.
Experience managing IT vendors and technology service providers.

Ability to respond to onsite technical issues as needed.
