Styer Hospitality Co. is hiring a remote Guest Service Agent to support guests throughout their stays. You’ll answer questions, resolve concerns, and coordinate with our operations team to provide prompt, thoughtful service. During quieter periods, you may also help with basic property listing updates, but guest communication is your priority.
Respond to all guest messages within 5 minutes, with a goal of under one minute for simple responses, even when a full update is not yet available.
Monitor guest communication across Hostaway, Furnished Finder, email, text, and phone.
Deliver clear, professional communication that reflects the Styer Hospitality Co. brand.
Take prompt action on guest issues by creating and assigning Breezeway tasks.
Coordinate with internal team members to resolve guest needs quickly and completely.
Proactively schedule mid-stay cleans and collect the associated fees.
Request, track, and confirm guest payments, including mid-stay cleaning fees, pet fees, and calendar hold fees. Escalate outstanding payments when needed.
Accurately manage guest details and special requests, including information needed for parking permits.
Monitor and respond to guest reviews, request positive reviews when appropriate, and create follow-up tasks to address feedback.
Use and update Notion property information to answer guest questions accurately.
Keep property statuses, availability trackers, and reservation checklists current in Asana.
Escalate urgent or high-risk issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
As needed, update listing details, automated messages, and message templates, and maintain calendar availability and blocks as directed by the Operations Manager and Leasing Manager.
Experience in guest services, hospitality, reservations, property management, or customer support.
Excellent written and spoken English, including confidence speaking with guests by phone.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to stay attentive across multiple communication channels and respond quickly during your shift.
Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and learn new software.
A reliable computer, phone, and internet connection suitable for remote work.
Availability for the schedule below.
Experience supporting short- or mid-term furnished rentals.
Familiarity with Hostaway or another property management system, Breezeway, Asana, or Notion.
Compensation: $8–$12 USD per hour
Schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time
