We're looking for individuals with Transport Planning background, ideally from the FMCG industry, but candidates from other industries with relevant experience are highly encouraged to apply. This job role supports Kraft Heinz Company and operates based on the business requirements of the account.

Job Summary

The Transport Planner is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing transportation activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods, materials, or personnel. This role involves route planning, carrier coordination, monitoring transportation performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transportation schedules to meet operational requirements.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment schedules and updates.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, transportation capacity, and service performance.
• Track deliveries and proactively resolve transportation issues, delays, or disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Analyze transportation data and prepare reports on costs, performance, and service levels.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain execution.
• Manage transportation documentation, including shipment records, permits, and compliance reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within transport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, and route optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• With no issues and concerns working on night shifts, shifting schedules and split offs as necessary, working on holidays and weekends
