With $2.5B+ in ARR and $250M invested in R&D annually, we’re building the future of AI-powered business communications
This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for:
This senior position requires deep expertise in data analytics and artificial intelligence (machine learning, deep learning, LLMs) and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable, production-grade solutions. You will help set the technical direction for our data science work and raise the engineering standard across the team. The tools in this field change every few months, so keeping your knowledge up to date is part of the job.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy data science pipelines end to end, and own them after they go live, including monitoring, reliability, and performance
- Help shape the data science roadmap: identify high-value use cases, recommend solutions and priorities to stakeholders, and set technical direction and architecture for the team.
- Translate calculations and metric definitions from the analytics team into Python code, and automate them, challenging or refining definitions where the data or method calls for it
- Support the Data Analytics team by independently scoping and delivering data science projects for recurring and ad-hoc requests using Python, Snowflake, and various source systems.
- Explore and prepare data, and select and apply statistical methods, machine learning, or LLMs where they fit the problem, weighing trade-offs and validating results rigorously.
- Maintain and optimize existing projects, and set and uphold team standards for code review, testing, documentation, and regular updates.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities, and establish best practices for using them responsibly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, the Data Warehouse team, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a Data Scientist or closely related position, with a track record of delivering data science solutions into production.
- Core Skill: proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining data science pipelines end to end, including owning them in production.
- Tech Stack: Advanced Python and SQL skills, including pandas and NumPy, with the ability to write clean, tested code that can be used in production. Git is required. Experience with Snowflake and scikit-learn is strongly preferred; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face is a plus.
- AI: Hands-on experience using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) in your projects is strongly preferred, along with using AI coding tools like Claude Code or Codex responsibly.
- Problem Solving: A strong foundation in statistics, data preparation, and model evaluation. Demonstrated ability to convert numerical formulas into accurate code, choose and justify the right algorithm for a use case, work through ambiguous problems, and find creative workarounds when necessary.
- Technical Leadership: Proven ability to set technical direction, review others' code, and mentor colleagues informally, influencing through expertise rather than formal management authority.
- Attitude: A positive mindset, a strong willingness to learn, and the initiative to act without close direction. You're a generalist, comfortable with both structured and unstructured data.
- Communication: You'll work with several teams across the analytics organization, so you need to discuss requirements, explain technical findings, and make clear recommendations to both technical and business colleagues, including senior stakeholders.
What we offer:
