JOB SUMMARY The Logistics Assistant supports the Logistics and Distribution Officer and Supply Chain Manager on every task involving the supply chain by ensuring that the tasks of the entire team are completed on time and in accordance with the expectations, from preparation to delivery. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that the preparation and packaging chain as well as its logistical follow-up are well handled. Constantly looks for suppliers (carriers, manufacturers, etc.). Responsible for inventory control and the receipt and shipment of products (to customers while respecting the delivery deadlines imposed on him / her). Responsible for after-sales follow-up and generates reports. Receives and checks deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered. Signs delivery notes upon receipt of shipments. Heeds notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile. Unpacks items and arranges these on shelves, if needed. Prepares our clients' orders by gathering and loading stock. Ensures that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized. Reports all breakages and spills. Offers assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in your day.
