Job description2+ years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is a plus). Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile / Scrum environments. Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies. Experience with using Jira or similar tools. E xperience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus. Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams. Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends. Team player with a collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks.
Job Description :
- Review requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds / releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes.
- Maintain and execute manual test cases.
- Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts is a plus.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies : standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory / compliance needs.
