Job description

Our client is a fast-growing SEO and content marketing agency that helps businesses achieve measurable success through strategic online content. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Content Manager to oversee the management, publishing, and optimization of our content. This person will help uphold the quality and efficiency of our content operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Content Publishing & Management

  • Publish blog posts and landing pages in our CMS using established templates and formatting guidelines.
  • Manage content schedules to ensure timely delivery and publication.
  • Regularly update metadata, such as meta descriptions, titles, and tags, to align with SEO best practices.

Internal Linking & Optimization

  • Develop and implement internal linking strategies to enhance user experience and on-site SEO.
  • Ensure that published content adheres to SEO and accessibility guidelines.
  • Research &Planning

  • Identify new blog post topics based on keyword trends, audience needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Prepare research briefs that guide writers on structure, tone, and key points.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to refine topic ideas and strategies.
  • Content Quality Assurance

  • Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic audits of older content to identify opportunities for updates and improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvements

  • Collaborate with the SEO team to analyze content performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Suggest content refreshes and updates for older posts to keep them relevant and competitive.
  • Requirements

  • 2-5years of experience in content management, publishing, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Understanding of SEO principles, including metadata management and internal linking.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush is a plus.
