Job Summary
The position is primarily responsible for thorough and accurate evaluation of merchant applications for new affiliation, branch affiliation and / or file maintenance request in accordance with established credit policy for merchant accreditation.
Responsibilities
Supervises the team handling debit affiliations and branch referral program and ensures issues / concerns regarding the timely completion of assigned tasks are attended / escalated properly.
Receives merchant affiliation requests from Business Units.
Checks completeness of information and documentary requirements for proper evaluation of merchant affiliation applications and file maintenance requests.
Performs credit checking.
Annotates document deficiency for inclusion in the masterfile of merchants with documents to be complied on specified date.
Qualifications
Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder
With at least 2 years experience in retail credit.
Knowledgeable in Credit Evaluation.
With good communication skills.
