A Chat Support Representative is responsible for assisting customers through live chat platforms. The role involves responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information in a timely and professional manner. Agents are expected to maintain a friendly and empathetic tone while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
Provide accurate, clear, and concise information to customers.
Assist with troubleshooting, account inquiries, product / service details, and order status.
Escalate complex issues to higher support teams when necessary.
Ensure proper documentation of interactions in the system.
Deliver excellent customer experience by being patient, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Skills & Qualifications :
Strong written communication skills with good grammar and spelling.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with CRM / chat platforms is an advantage.
Customer service experience is a plus but not always required.
