Role Description

This is a full-time on-site or work-from-home role for a Inpatient / Outpatient - Medical Coder located in Subic or Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing patient health records, assigning standard codes for diagnoses and treatments, and ensuring data accuracy for billing and reporting purposes. The role involves close collaboration with healthcare providers to clarify and validate information, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Coding Experience and AHIMA or AAPC certification holder
• Knowledge of Health Information Management and Medical Terminology
• Proficiency in Medical Coding practices
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Background with Medical Coding tools / systems is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field of Allied Medical courses
