Apparel Designer/Sock Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Apparel Designer/Sock Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing socks and textile patterns with innovative designs, patterns, and color schemes. This role requires proficiency in creating technical specifications using CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative and unique sock designs and patterns based on client requirements.
• Create detailed technical specifications for manufacturing.
• Select appropriate color schemes and design elements to align with brand aesthetics.
• Utilize CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite to develop high-quality design outputs.
• Stay updated with trends in textile and sock design, incorporating modern techniques and creative ideas.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet both functional and aesthetic goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in textile or apparel design, preferably in sock design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of textile materials, sock construction, and knitting techniques.
• Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of sock kibitzing (construction, knitting techniques, and detailing).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
