About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our team. The role will focus on hiring across various business units within the shipping and maritime industry. The right candidate will have strong recruitment experience in this field and the ability to manage end-to-end hiring needs for a wide range of roles.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements across business units.
Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for technical, operational, and corporate positions.
Screen applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidate fit.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Maintain candidate pipelines and update recruitment reports.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, POEA / DOLE regulations, and industry standards in all recruitment activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer, Specialist, or similar role in the shipping, maritime, or manning industry.
Strong understanding of industry roles and requirements across business functions.
Familiarity with POEA / DOLE processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions at different levels (from entry-level to senior positions).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
