Heavy Vehicle Driver - Class 8 (Field & Equipment Transport)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Class 8 Heavy Vehicle Driver to support logistics operations involving the transport of equipment, tools, or materials for field-based technical services . This role is responsible for operating large commercial vehicles across varied terrain and ensuring secure, compliant, and timely delivery of cargo to operational sites.

The ideal candidate has proven experience driving Class 8 vehicles (tractor-trailers, heavy haulers), a strong safety record, and familiarity with DOT or equivalent transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for transporting equipment, machinery, and materials to and from operational sites.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle condition before, during, and after trips; report any defects or maintenance needs.
• Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with safety and weight regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and fuel usage records.
• Comply with local, regional, and national transportation regulations (e.g., DOT, HOS).
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo when required, using proper equipment and lifting practices.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and field teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and field-specific operational standards.
