We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Quality Assurance Engineer / Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our fiber optic network, services, and products. This includes planning, designing, testing, and deploying fiber optic systems, as well as monitoring and reporting on network & infra performance.

Position Responsibilities / Job Description :

  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and standards for fiber optic networks and services.
  • Conduct fiber optic network testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve fiber-related issues.
  • Analyze and report on network performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for fiber optic networks and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in fiber optic technology

Person Specification - Expertise :

  • Must have 3-4 years OSP / ISP experience in telecommunications.
  • Candidate must possess a University / College Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Architecture and Drafting, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Geographical Science, Geology / Geophysics, Mathematics or Business Administration.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work and interact with people at all levels and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Fibre Optic deployment requirements
  • Working experience in any Database that keeps track of fibre infrastructure.
  • Understand and able to interpret engineering installation plans.
  • Sound understanding of telecommunications physical construction.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite – word, excel and Visio is an advantage.
