TheSystemsDesignManagerisresponsibleforthestrategicplanning,implementation,andmanagementofin-storesystems,includingPOS,BOH(Inventory,Forecasting,LaborandShiftScheduling),SOK,DMB,andnewdigitaltechnologies.Thispositionensuresthatsystemsarescalable,reliable,andalignedwithbusinessrequirements,supportingthedigitaltransformationofrestaurantoperationsacrossmultipleregions.TheSystemDesignManagerwillalsoleadthetechnicaldesignprocessandperformance,ensuringintegrationwithexistinginfrastructureandalignmentwithlong-termstrategicgoals.

KeyResponsibilities

• Developandexecuteacomprehensivestrategicplanforin-storedigitalsolutions,aligningwiththeorganization’sstrategicobjectivesandensuringeffectiveintegrationofdigitaltechnologyintoallaspectsofbusinessoperations.
• Overseetheplanning,acquisition,implementation,andmaintenanceofdigitalsystemstoensuretheymeetorganizationalandcustomerneeds,includingensuringthecurrencyandsecurityofallhardware,software,anddata.
• Developandmaintainkeyperformanceindicators(KPIs)tomeasuretheeffectivenessandefficiencyofallinformationsystems.Monitorandanalyzemetricstoidentifyareasforimprovementandmakedata-drivendecisions.
• Collaboratewithmultipleglobaldepartments,includingITenterprise,datascience,developmentoperations,cybersecurity,andusersupportservices.
• Negotiateandmanagecontractswithvendorsfortheprocurementofhardware,software,andservices.Monitorvendorperformancetoensureservicesaredeliveredinaccordancewithagreedtermsandconditions.
• Ensurecompliancewithallrelevantlaws,regulations,andindustrystandardsrelatedtoinformationsystemsanddataprivacy.
• Maintainopencommunicationwithinternalandexternalstakeholders,ensuringtheyarekeptinformedofsystemchanges,potentialrisks,andperformancemetrics.BuildstrongrelationshipswithEngineering.
• Staycurrentwithemergingtechnologiesandindustrytrends,evaluatingtheirpotentialbenefitsandfeasibilityfortheorganization.

The OpportunityThe Design System Designer plays a key role in the Regional Experience Design team, driving consistency and scalability across digital products through a unified visual language. This role focuses on creating reusable components, improving design quality, and reducing design debt by collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining system foundations, patterns, and documentation, while supporting Asia Segment teams in contributing to global standards and establishing localized libraries.
