We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Virtual Product Lister and Specialist to join our team. As a Product Lister and Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, listing, and optimizing product listings on various e-commerce platforms. Your expertise in product listing, keyword research, and market analysis will play a crucial role in maximizing product visibility, driving sales, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Research product information, specifications, and details from various sources, including manufacturer websites, catalogs, and other online resources.
  • Create accurate and compelling product listings for e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and others, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and platform requirements.
  • Optimize product listings for search engine visibility and conversion, incorporating relevant keywords, metadata, and product attributes to improve ranking and click-through rates.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies for improving product visibility and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to gather product information, photos, and other assets for listing creation and optimization.
  • Monitor and update product listings regularly to reflect changes in inventory, pricing, promotions, and other factors, ensuring accuracy and relevance of product information.
  • Analyze product performance metrics, including sales data, conversion rates, and customer feedback, and provide insights and recommendations for improving product listings and sales performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, e-commerce best practices, and platform updates, and proactively implement strategies and optimizations to stay competitive and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide support and assistance to customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information and recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product listings, inventory levels, and sales data in e-commerce management systems or spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in e-commerce, product listing, or a related role, with a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, product listing optimization, and online marketplace dynamics.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately gather and input product information, specifications, and details into listings.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, Shopify, or similar platforms, as well as familiarity with listing tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with team members and stakeholders to gather information and coordinate listing activities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace conducive to remote work and virtual collaboration.
  • Availability to work during US business hours, with flexibility to accommodate occasional meetings, deadlines, or project revisions outside of standard hours.
