Assistant / Associate Professor (Computer Science)

Doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or related computing field

At least 1 year of tertiary-level teaching experience, or professional, or research experience directly relevant to computer science, IT, or computing in general

Substantial scholarly contribution in one's field of specialization, evidenced by commissioned researchprojects, and publications in reputable conferences or journals.

Active participation in professional organizations.

Applicant should be capable of teaching three or more, of the following CS courses :

procedural / object-oriented programming

data structures and algorithms

databases

operating systems

artificial intelligence

web or mobile development

software engineering

human computer interactions

Job Description / Summary

Should be able to teach computing courses, such as programming, algorithms, software engineering, artificial intelligence

Standard teaching load of 12 hours per week.

The remaining work hours shall be devoted to class preparation, research, thesis advising, commitee work, consultancy, industry immersion, and other approved activities.

Participates in the review and curriculum improvement of the undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) computer science program.

Must be willing to teach classes on either, Manila or Laguna campus, or both.

Faculty rank and salary are determined based on academic degree, teaching experience and research track record.
