Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated Collections Specialist to join the team and assist in improving rent collection processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, real estate, and collections, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving outstanding balances.

Responsibilities :

  • Contact tenants (call, text, and email) regarding rental collections and payment reminders with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Establish payment arrangements and negotiate Promise To Pay (PTP) agreements with delinquent tenants.
  • Maintain accurate records of communication and payment arrangements in Google Sheets or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to streamline collection processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide support in building strong tenant relationships and addressing any concerns related to rent payments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in collections, preferably in a real estate or property management setting.

    • Excellent communication skills ,

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet software for maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to meet collection targets with a sense of urgency.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle a high volume of calls during peak periods.
  • Experience in finance or real estate will be considered a plus.

    • Benefits

  • Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payment : All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

    • Salary : $900-$1200 / month

    Schedule : 9 AM - 6 PM EST
