The Assistant Crew Operators are accountable to the Crew Operators and Crew Manager and responsible for :
1. Accurate encoding new crew information in the data base.
2. Preparing the needed Flag requirements.
3. Monitoring the expiry and renewal dates of seafarer’s documents and informing the Crew Operator and / or Crew Manager.
4. Coordinating with Visa Officer all requirements needed for Visa Application.
5. Preparing all seafarer’s Contracts of Employment with the supervision of the Crew Operator.
6. Preparing and filling Addendums / MOA to the Contracts of Employment, if any
7. Preparation of all relevant documentation prior to crew joining.
8. Preparing the list with the Uniform and other safety items as specified by Principal to be handed to the seafarers before their embarkation and afterwards send same to Company’s Accounting department
9. Responsible for checking the authenticity and validity of documents with cross checking
of the Crew Operator.
10. Assisting the Crew Operator in the dispatch of seafarers for second level review of documents. In the absence of the Crew Operator, another Crew Operator will replace the her to avoid lacking and mistake to the correctness of the set of documents handed to them prior embarkation.
