Sales Officer

Employee Services | Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist Job Purpose : This role is responsible for generating sales of Union PhilCement products through selling activities, promotional visits, customer liaison, and servicing of prospective and existing customers.

It includes conducting product and company presentations to create awareness and drive sales.

Additional functions involve market identification and development.

Job Scope : Establish and follow an effective selling process (e.g., prospecting, qualifying, pre-approach, approach, demonstration / presentation, handling objections, and closing) to ensure quality sales and consistent performance.

Identify new markets, potential accounts, and opportunities, and stay informed about developments within assigned areas.

Gather data on ongoing and upcoming projects from reliable sources in assigned areas and conduct benchmarking.

Participate in formulating strategies, targets, and budgets for the area, and implement approved plans to ensure sales performance.

Prepare sales quotations, order forms, and related documentation for customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to pricing, payment, and delivery terms.

Monitor incoming orders, withdrawals, and outstanding balances of managed customers.

Regularly visit existing dealers / clients and prospective customers for sales calls, collections, promotions, and goodwill building.

Minimum Qualifications : Education : College graduate in Sales, Management, or related fields.

Experience : 3-5+ years in sales, with familiarity in the Cagayan Valley area, and experience in the construction industry is advantageous.

Knowledge in fieldwork, market audit, sales activities, credit, pricing, customer service, promotions, prospecting, and market intelligence.
