Job Summary :

As a Graphic Designer at AstraLab.ca, you’ll work closely with our design and project management teams to create sign designs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Take task briefs from clients to understand their design needs and translate them into high-quality, production-ready sign designs.
  • Develop compelling presentation slides and visual aids for sign shops.
  • Manage multiple design projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and AstraLab’s quality standards.
  • Review and refine designs based on feedback from clients and internal team members to achieve desired results.
  • Ensure all files are well-organized and delivered on time, meeting deadlines and production schedules.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with project managers and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Expert in Adobe Illustrator, with a strong focus on vector design.
  • Strong skills in Photoshop and InDesign.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a graphic designer; freelance experience considered with a strong portfolio showcasing vector-based sign designs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret design briefs.
  • Knowledge of signage design is a plus (ex. vehicle graphics, dimensional signage, etc.)

    • Work Schedule and Requirements :

  • Remote position with access to reliable internet and communication tools.
  • Choose between two shifts :

    • 00 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 AM Manila time, Tuesday to Saturday (with a 45-minute lunch / coffee break).

  • 05 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM Manila time, Tuesday to Saturday (with a 45-minute lunch / coffee break).
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines and occasional overtime when needed.
