Painter (Powder Coat)

Job Summary :

The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts using powder coating techniques. The role ensures that all coated products meet quality standards, proper surface preparation is done, and safety procedures are strictly followed throughout the coating process.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare and clean metal surfaces before powder coating (e.g., sandblasting, degreasing, masking).

Apply powder coatings using spray guns and follow correct thickness, coverage, and color requirements.

Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, curing ovens, and related tools.

Ensure uniform coating application and inspect finished parts for defects or uneven finishes.

Follow work orders and color specifications based on project requirements.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the painting area and equipment.

Conduct minor maintenance or troubleshooting of spray guns and coating machines when needed.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during the coating process.

Assist in the packaging, labeling, and transfer of finished products.

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
