Network Security Engineer

Location : BGC, Taguig (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed designs for IT security systems based on approved architecture

Formulate, review, and maintain IT security policies, standards, and procedures

Identify and address security design gaps in new and existing infrastructure

Evaluate and recommend cost-effective IT security solutions and prepare business cases

Manage testing, implementation, and monitoring of network security controls

Conduct regular configuration reviews and ensure optimization of security tools

Oversee installation, changes, and performance of security infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, IDS, routers, servers, etc.)

Establish and test disaster recovery strategies for security tools

Stay up to date with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats

Collaborate with IT and ISD teams to deliver holistic information security services

Provide reports and recommendations to strengthen the Bank’s security posture

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions

Strong knowledge of LAN / WAN topologies, cryptographic methods, operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), databases, cloud technologies, and security tools

Industry certifications preferred : SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)

Strong analytical and risk identification skills

Knowledge of emerging security threats and best practices
