Guidance Counselor

Basic Function : The Guidance Counselor helps in the development of the students’ psychological well-being. Major Responsibility : Develops the guidance and counseling program Interviews, counsels and assists students in finding ways of clarifying and supervising their queries and difficulties Maintains a systematic data bank of relevant information about counselees Conducts group guidance sessions, orientation activities, trainings and seminars Helps the psychometrician administer, process and evaluate the College Entrance exam, psychological and other standardized test to individuals or group of students. Explains psychological test results to students, teachers, parents and / or may authorized persons, either in group or individually Ensures the confidentiality of sensitive information Submits required reports Makes referrals to specialist those cases which are beyond his capacity to handle Updates himself with the latest trends and researches in the field of psychology guidance and counseling Qualifications : Graduate of AB / BS Psychology with Master's in Guidance & Counseling With or without experience Preferably with license (Registered Guidance Counselor) RGC with good communication skills Amenable to work in Biñan Laguna send your resume to recruitment@uphsl.edu.ph
