IT Technical Writer Senior Specialist

MAIN PURPOSE

OF THE JOB:

The role is primarily responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation that communicates complex information clearly and effectively. This role ensures that organization's IT practices, policies and procedures are documented and adheres to relevant laws, regulations, industry standards and AXA group requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

·Creates, reviews and updates variety of technical documents including policies, procedures, user manuals, guidelines, work instructions, templates, etc.

·Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and understand technical aspects of products and services.

·Creates diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to enhance understanding of complex concepts and facilitates suitable training programs for rollout during IT compliance related training(s).

·Manages knowledge base

·Evaluates T&Ts adherence to relevant standards, policies, and regulations.

·Works closely with various T&T teams for planning and executing Management Action Plans.

·Supports all IT Compliance activities.

·Assesses, validates, documents and supports implementation of internal controls as part of on-going compliance efforts

Your Profile

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·University degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or any of the allied degrees

·Preferably recognized in any IT audit or technical writing related certification (, CISA, CISSP, COBIT, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma) is desired

·Prior experience in technical writing, IT audit, IT compliance or related areas are preferred

·Strong interpersonal skills, a positive personal attitude, with an enthusiasm for working in a team centric environment and a commitment to continual professional learning and growth.

·Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

·Understanding of continuous quality and compliance improvements as well as processes to ensure it is embedded in the organization's culture.

·Knowledgeable in various IT domains and processes including ISO27001, ITIL, risk assessment, SDLC, CIS, NIST, SOC, DLP, VAPT, DR, and others

·Knowledgeable in privacy and data protection laws and regulations (, Data Privacy Act of Philippines, PCI-DSS)

·Excellent attention to detail

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

·Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in business processes

·Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to rapidly changing business environments.

·Working knowledge in automation and query scripts such as Macros, Power Automate, UI Path is a plus

·Working knowledge in periodic user access reviews as well as related access controls ( authentication methods, provisioning and de-provisioning process)

·Working knowledge on MS Visio is preferred
