Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years in a similar Technical Architect role (varies by posting); 5+ years leading technical teams for some postings. Insurance domain focus : define and own technical architecture of applications (underwriting, claims, finance, portals); lead developers; manage architecture across the lifecycle. AI Technical / Solution Architect : emphasis on AI / ML, CX solutions, data science, and hybrid work arrangements; driving automation development frameworks and code reviews. Oracle Technical Architect : leadership across OCI, OIC, PaaS, and integration; governance of designs and engagement with ANZ region customers. Mid Technical Architect : emphasis on enterprise solutions in financial services with cloud-native design and infrastructure expertise. Experience : 7+ years in software development with 3+ years in lead / architect roles; 1+ year in financial institutions for some postings. Skills : RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud services, security, DevOps pipelines, and data platforms. Education : Bachelor's degree required or preferred depending on posting. The Technical Architect will oversee and contribute across the full software and project lifecycle — from solution design to hands-on implementation guidance. This role involves close collaboration with developers, DevOps teams, clients, and other project stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern cloud-native solutions with seamless integration into legacy systems.
- Develop end-to-end architecture for microservices and enterprise-grade applications.
- Ensure all solutions meet business requirements, scalability goals, and security standards.
- Lead architecture reviews, PoCs, and developer handoffs.
- Provide technical guidance on system design, API standards, and performance optimization.
- Lead the design and documentation of technical architectures for Oracle Cloud projects, including OCI, integration, PaaS, and middleware solutions (Oracle postings).
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and client technical teams to define integration architectures, security models, and data flows.
- Mentor and support technical team members, fostering a performance-based, innovative, and collaborative work culture.
- Manage SIT / UAT / Prod implementation activities and ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Prepare overall technical designs and high-level specifications; develop detailed technical activities with timelines.
- Oversee front-end and back-end development across projects; ensure alignment with governance and architecture standards.
