Job Mandate
The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to spearhead the creation, maintenance and communications of EA Catalogues, Guardrails and Methodologies. The Enterprise Architect will work closely with Enterprise Architect Lead to provide business and technology support for its assigned architecture and business domains.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Define, maintain and evolve enterprise architecture standards – principles, technology standards
- Align architecture standards with IT strategy and processes, e.g. SDLC.
- Collaborate with community of architects to promote adoption of architecture standards.
- Compliance Oversight : Operationalize the architecture governance (e.g. architecture review board, architecture forum) to enforce compliance with architecture standards during the solution design and project lifecycle.
- Monitor compliance metrics and report deviations with recommendations and corrective actions.
- Alignment with Stakeholders : Provide training and awareness to IT teams regarding architectural standards and best practices
- Support internal and external audits related to architecture compliance
- Competency Development : Define & execute training plan for enterprise architects.
- Actively build competency by gaining domain knowledge.
- Perform other related functions, tasks or assignments that may be assigned as special projects or individual
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related
Work Experience
At least 8 years’ experience in IT software / services definition, build, and managementExperience as Technical Lead in major technology implementationBanking or financial industry experience is a plusTechnical Skills
Strong knowledge on technologies, trends, concepts, and best practices of respective architecture and business domainBusiness and Technical AnalysisProject management, organizational and problem-solving skillsModelling and graphical representations and abstractionsOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and writtenCertification in Architecture Framework (e.g. TOGAF) is a plus but not requiredJob Description — Behavioral Skills
