Job description

We are seeking a highly technical and self-sufficient Automation Specialist who excels in automation testing and quality assurance. This individual will be responsible for writing and executing automated test cases for our front-end user experience, customer dashboard, and internal admin dashboard. The ideal candidate is resourceful, understands how to build and execute test plans independently, and can collaborate effectively with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation test cases for new and existing features across the frontend (user-facing UI), customer dashboard, and admin dashboard.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues to the development team.
  • Implement and improve automation testing frameworks, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform thorough QA testing to validate functionality, performance, and compatibility of new features.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the development pipeline.
  • Provide clear documentation on test cases, processes, and best practices.
  • Act as a problem-solver, proactively identifying areas for improvement in test strategies.
  • Maintain test coverage and continuously optimize automation scripts for scalability and performance.

Pay : $6-8 / hr, DOE

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing and QA.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, Jest, Mocha, Chai, or similar for test automation.
  • Prior experience testing SaaS platforms, web applications, or dashboards.
  • Skills Required :

  • Extensive experience in Automation Testing with a strong grasp of best practices.
  • Technical proficiency in React-based applications and front-end testing.
  • Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Experience with testing APIs, integrations, and performance testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills to effectively document and report test findings.
  • Ability to work independently without requiring constant supervision.
  • Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version control systems like Git is a plus.
