Job descriptionGreet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including shelves, aisles, and checkout areas. Stock shelves with products, ensuring they are properly labeled and organized. Assist customers in locating items or making purchase decisions. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently at the register. Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies. Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors when stock is running low. Ensure the store is secure by following all safety and loss prevention procedures. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not always required). Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory. On-the-job training is usually provided.
Skills and Qualities :
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
