Accredited in Public Relations (APR) – PRSACertified Public Relations Specialist (CPRS)Training in crisis communication, social media strategy, or media relations can give you an edgeSkills & Capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communicationStrategic thinking and campaign planningStrong grasp of digital media and content creationLeadership and project managementAbility to measure communication effectiveness using analytics, surveys, and media coverage reportsMedia Relations
As Media Relations lead, responsibilities include developing and executing media strategies to boost brand visibility and reputation, building relationships with media outlets, and coordinating with internal teams. Responsibilities include :
Preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content for media engagementCultivating and managing relationships with media representatives and bloggersPitching press releases to targeted media outletsSecuring interviews for brands and executivesDistributing PR kits to media representatives and bloggersIdentifying media opportunities for earned and paid review programsCoordinating media representatives during familiarization tours and eventsFollowing up with journalists to ensure timely publicationProviding media relations consultancy and insightsMonitoring and clipping news coverage to evaluate impactQUALIFICATIONS
Education : Degree in Business Studies, Marketing Management, or similar is advantageousExperience : Open to all levels; established media relationships a plus; knowledge of public relations & digital marketingWork Environment : Hybrid work setupSKILLS
