The Insights & Research Analyst will join a high-performing Research and Insights team, with one hire focusing on Cybersecurity & Risk Management and the other on Fraud & Regulatory Compliance . This role is ideal for professionals with strong research and consulting experience who can quickly ramp up in specialized, fast-evolving industries.
The analyst will conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to deliver actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research across the universes our client cover, leveraging both their proprietary Link platform data and external sources to develop actionable intelligence. You will serve as a subject matter expert, engaging directly with industry leaders, conducting analyst briefings, and building a long-term insights repository to strengthen our market coverage. You will work on multiple projects at different stages, ensuring a balance of priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
This position demands intellectual curiosity , adaptability , and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment where change is constant.
You will be working very closely with a product and AI engineering team. This is a great opportunity to gain direct experience working with AI / ML.
Key Responsibilities :
Market and Competitive Research
- Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis in fraud prevention and regulatory compliance (e.g., AML, data privacy)
- Gather and validate data from internal proprietary datasets and external tools (e.g., Google, PitchBook, industry reports).
- Develop and test hypotheses through structured research frameworks.
Insights Development
Build and maintain an organized insights repository within the Link platform.Synthesize findings into actionable insights that inform strategic recommendations.Produce research deliverables that meet high standards of clarity, accuracy, and analytical depth.Industry Engagement
Conduct interviews and analyst briefings with senior executives, market experts, and vendor teams.Represent the company as a subject matter expert at briefings and industry events.Data Analysis and Visualization
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.Build clear, compelling data visualizations to communicate findings.Leverage data to validate market hypotheses and support evidence-based conclusions.Project and Deadline Management
Work in a fast-paced environment with strict research deadlines.Manage multiple concurrent research projects with minimal supervision.Additional Responsibilities :
Conduct qualitative research through expert calls, secondary research (e.g., Google, industry databases), and in-depth interviews.Execute quantitative research, including the design and analysis of B2B surveys.Synthesize complex data and insights into clear, actionable findings.Create and manipulate data sets to support professional data visualizations (final design support will be provided by an internal team).Support two concurrent projects, each at different stages, while meeting project milestones and strict deadlines.Produce deliverables such as analyst briefings, vetted profiles, and published reports in line with quarterly targets.Apply and quickly develop understanding of cybersecurity, fraud-prevention, and regulatory compliance concepts and industry terminology.Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, highly dynamic environment.Requirements
Minimum 5+ years in research, consulting, market intelligence, or related fields.Background in either management consulting, investment banking quantitative research, or sell-side research.Demonstrated expertise or strong interest in fraud and regulatory compliance.Proven ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis. —candidates without proven research skills will find the subject-matter learning curve challenging.Strong data visualization and analysis skills, with the ability to prepare data for professional visualizations. .Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience engaging with senior executives and conducting structured interviews.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.Preferred Experience and Skills - Highly Advantageous
