CID Gulf LLC is a joint venture company established by Mr. Najeeb Alkhonji (KHONJI ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY), a Member of Mohamed & Ahmed Alkhonji LLC (MAK), one of the leading technology-based products and services holding in Oman, and Conseil, Ingénierie et Développement (CID), a large Moroccan consultancy engineering firm, operating across the African Continent and the Middle East. The objective of the two partners is to build a Omani consultancy engineering business based on CID experience as a national company created exclusively to tackle the engineering challenges in Morocco and ALKHONJI’S reputation as a well-established Omani holding since 1920 enjoying a leadership position amongst the industries stakeholders and others. CID Gulf LLC is an independent multi-disciplinary engineering firm operating as a regional platform, part of CID International operations in GCC countries, with its head office based in Muscat.

The Role

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to oversee the design and development of a specialized high-tech infrastructure project . The ideal candidate will have expertise in large-scale, high-security, and aerospace-related facilities , including complex site planning, structural engineering, environmental compliance, and integration of advanced support systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and engineering of a large-scale, high-security facility with aerospace applications.
  • Oversee site planning, structural engineering, and utility integration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with highly regulated industry standards (FAA, ICAO, OSHA, etc.).
  • Manage environmental and safety considerations, including hazardous material handling.
  • Work closely with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Utilize advanced simulation tools (FEA, CFD, GIS) for site analysis and engineering validation.

Ideal Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure, aerospace, or high-security projects.
  • Background in civil, structural, aerospace, or mechanical engineering .
  • Experience in facilities such as airports, launch sites, military bases, or oil & gas .
  • Knowledge of cryogenic systems, fuel storage, and fire suppression is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks for industrial or aerospace facilities.
  • Experience with project management and multidisciplinary coordination .
