Job Summary :

A Field Service Engineer APAC will provide field service to our Dealer network in the Asia Pacific region. Via your troubleshooting guidance, onsite training and on-hands repair support you effectively resolve technical-, electrical-, and mechanical issues. The suitable candidates have, besides good technical knowledges, a flexible and customer-oriented attitude and possesses strong integrity and self-managing capabilities. In this position significant travel is required throughout APAC. The Field Service Engineer APAC is a full-time position within an open culture which promotes and inspires a highly committed and dedicated team to deliver premium service to our Dealer network. In this role you report directly to the PH Operations Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide field service support in a pleasant, professional, courteous and timely manner to adequately resolve dealers' issues.
  • Conduct repairs and support maintenance activities.
  • Provide Technical Training.
  • Write Service reports and record details of interactions with partners in our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Communicate and coordinate via various platforms with our mechanics, technicians and engineers to ensure escalated issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Conduct remote technical support, troubleshooting and diagnostic support via various web-based platforms.
  • Help improve diagnostic tools and capabilities by providing detailed feedback from the field.
  • Where necessary, draft service bulletins or service instructions.
  • Participate and deliver your feedback to further improve Technical Training programs to improve overall technical skills within the Dealer network.
  • Proactively communicate with colleagues in the Philippines office and EU Director of CX After Sales to ensure service standards are met and Dealer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Partner Portal guidance and onsite support with Warranty administration processes.
  • Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic guidance

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any equivalent courses with at least 5 years of relevant experience in field works.
  • Proficient in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Certified to work on high-Voltage systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Windows Word and Excel;
  • Experienced user of Industrial Standard electronic test devices, instruments and tools (understanding of motorcycles, automobiles or electric vehicles are highly beneficial).
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with a computer including connecting external devices, and configuring systems with new software
  • Independent, flexible, assured and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to carry responsibility and withstand pressure.
  • Willing to travel to APAC regions.
