Chief Mechanic

Job Summary

Maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. Responsible for ensuring that company vehicles, including maintenance vehicles in the best operating conditions possible and responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of company vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

Chief Mechanic job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

1. Inspect engines, transmission, and etc., and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.

2. Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.

3. Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.

4. Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.

5. Keep logs of work and report on issues.

6. Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.

Skills Required :

1. Problem-solving ability

2. Proven experience as a Mechanic

3. Ability to pay attention to details

Qualifications :

1. Certification from a Vocational Course (with TESDA certificate is a plus)

2. Excellent knowledge of machinery and other systems and their components.
