A key account specialist is responsible for managing and developing relationships with the company's key customers or clients. The role typically involves the following responsibilities : Developing a deep understanding of the needs, goals, and preferences of key customers.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Graduate of any Bachelor's degree course.
2. At least 2-3 years of work experience in Sales / Marketing.
3. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
4. Having a valid driver's license (motorcycle or four wheels) would be an advantage
5. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, like Excel, Word, and Outlook.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
a. Account Acquisition
1. Identifies customer requirements and needs based on defined parameters such as population, target sales, etc.
2. Conducts ocular inspection and identifies foot traffic for the proposed location
3. Prepares feasibility studies of the account and gets approval from the immediate superior.
4. Once approved and agreed by the client, prepare documentation ( term sheet , PIF , etc.)
5. Coordinates with Operations on the IU and manpower route schedule
6. Assists the client with concerns regarding machines and other inquiries
7. Maintains open communication and good relationships with clients.
b. Machine Productivity
8. Identifies reasons for sales decline, if applicable prepares.
9. Identifies opportunities to improve sales, such as transfer machine location, defective machines, incomplete selection, refill schedules, price increase, and makes recommendations.
c. Other Responsibilities :
10. Daily huddle ( plans for the day and output of the previous day).
11. Reviews prices per account and makes the necessary recommendations.
12. Review planogram and introduce new products such as snacks and soda.
13. Prepares GAF as needed
14. Meets with clients at least once a month or as needed.
