The Planner is responsible for day-to-day operational and data integrity, logistics support functions, as well as more strategic initiatives such as the development and implementation of new procedures, programs, and business opportunities to forge stronger business relationships between APLL and our customers and suppliers
Managment / Leadership

- Lead EDI initiatives to increase productivity, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data
- Work with Operations to document Logistics Procedures and prepare business requirements documents, test plans, training materials, start-up manuals and assist with training.
Operations
Process improvement; suggest & implement improvements with data, documentationOwnership of TMS operational, process, rate and systems issues, identify trends and root causes and, in concert with operations, put in place corrective action plansSystem testing and certification; validate that system enhancements meet requirements; facilitate / perform user acceptance testing; write test plans for new implementations and enhancements.Customer Service
Customer satisfaction : insuring data properly updated and maintained in TMSAssist with Data Integrity with APLL trading partners (. customers, carriers, -Accountability and implementation efforts for new procedures implemented for new accounts.Must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fieldExcellent written and oral English communication skillsProven effective listening skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a global team and matrixed environmentStrong Microsoft office tools experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitudeAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasksBackground experience working in a supply chain and logistics environment and / or shared services / captive business set-up is preferred
