Senior Network Specialist – Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are hiring a Senior Network Specialist. CCNA Certification is Mandatory. Work From Office. Night Shift.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Implement security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Manage network hardware such as routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support applications, cloud services, and remote access.
• Perform network capacity planning and upgrades.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior network staff
• Deliver resolutions within SLA.
• Handling incidences, troubleshoot and resolve complex real-time issues.
• Interaction with client technology teams / ISPs / Vendors / Service partners during incidences.
• Follow ITIL practices, ensuring compliance adherence.
• Creating and updating procedure documents, creating knowledge bases.
• Initiator / self-starter, result-oriented, flexible, with complex problem-solving skills.
• Work in a team.

Technical skills

Aruba / Cisco / Dell L2 Switches, L3 Switches, Router, IP addressing / Subnetting, VLAN, SD-WAN. Routing OSPF, RIPv2, BGP, WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, IPSec VPN), Wireless Controllers, Wireless APs.
